Commencement
The college is pleased to welcome Frieda Ekotto ’86 back to campus to deliver the 2024 Commencement address. Ekotto is the Lorna Goodison Collegiate Professor of Afro-American and African Studies, Comparative Literature, 以及密歇根大学的法语研究, Ann Arbor.
In 1986, Ekotto became the first African woman to graduate from Colorado College. She went on to earn a Ph.D. in French and Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota and began teaching in 1994 at the University of Michigan. 除了她的学术工作，她也是一个创意作家和CC受托人. 在这个“不为人知的故事”专题中了解更多关于Ekotto的信息.

Baccalaureate

Tickets

Accessible Parking: The third level of the Ed Robson Arena parking garage is reserved for guests with limited mobility who require parking close to the venue entrance. Accessible parking is available on all levels of the Robson Arena parking garage and in other parking lots on campus as well. Golf carts will be available from other parking areas across campus to transport guests to Ed Robson Arena.
Arena Accommodations: Ed Robson Arena meets or exceeds all structural and service requirements as stipulated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Restrooms, drinking fountains, phones, and counters are accessible to guests with disabilities.
NOTE: Arena seating is steep, students should consider this as they reserve tickets for guests with accommodation needs and reserve tickets as early as possible as accessible seating is limited.
For the hearing impaired, assisted listening devices will be available for checkout on a first come first served basis; guests can also view captions on their mobile devices by pulling up the livestream at ooyva38.lee-parkmitsuitax.com/live.
